Day trips to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve offer unique opportunities to witness the behaviour of animals in their natural surroundings. On our recent Day trip, we had a chance to experience the diversity of wildlife in the Reserve. We observed the dynamics of the Bat-eared fox family, witnessing them in their natural habitat, engaging in family activities, and adding a special touch to wildlife encounters. Bat-eared foxes are known for their distinctive large ears, which aid in their exceptional sense of hearing. These foxes are well-adapted to the arid environment of the Kalahari, where they feed primarily on insects.
