Lioness
Sighted on: 03.January.2024
We started the new year with a day trip to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, which has a very challenging ecosystem. Our guests were fascinated with the way animals have adapted to the habitat. We were fortunate to see a lioness successfully make an Oryx kill. The lioness was observed panting heavily after making the kill - panting helps animals, including lions, regulate their body temperature, especially after exerting activities such as hunting.
