Our guests were extraordinarily lucky to see a male Greater Kudu display agonistic signs of aggression. In the animal kingdom, physical confrontation is the last option, and dominance is established by such displays of threats, aggression, and submission. They usually occur in the same sequence from start to end, with one animal finally giving way to another. This way, physical combat and the associated risks and injuries are avoided.
