Spotted Eagle Owl

Had a stroke of luck the other day – ran into a Spotted Eagle Owl during the daytime. Spotted Eagle Owls are very hard to spot when they roost, as they blend in exceptionally well with their surroundings. Besides that, they sit stock-still during the day, making them even more challenging to spot due to the lack of movement.
