Dragonfly
Sighted on: 04.September.2024
It's the dry season now, but as we wait for the green season to arrive in the Kalahari and bring with it more beautiful insects, our guests were treated to a great sighting during a game drive. They spotted a dragonfly with violet coloring, shiny orange-grey wings, and round black eyes resting by a waterhole. It wasn’t surprising to encounter this species, perched by the water and enjoying the mist, while waiting to hover over the fresh water.
